Tin Drum Asian Kitchen Mobile Payment & Rewards App Frequently Asked Questions



1. What is Tin Drum Rewards App?
A free mobile app for Android and iPhone that lets guests pay with their phone, earn rewards and order ahead. Guests will receive $5 in credit that may be used immediately after downloading the app!


2. How do I use the app?
Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Then enter a credit or debit card and begin paying with your phone, and earning rewards. Digital receipts are delivered to your phone after each transaction and your transaction history is saved in your app after each transaction. The app also has an order-ahead feature so you can order from your phone and Skip the Line® when you arrive.


3. What are the reward levels and how do I reach them?
LUCKY CAT – Applies to all users

LAUGHING BUDDHA: $500 spend (in a year)

5. Is paying with the app secure?
Yes. Once your credit or debit card is linked to your app account, the fact that you don’t need to take your card out of their wallet, is the first level of protection. The second level of protection is data encryption. The Tin Drum Rewards App is powered by LevelUp, a mobile payment platform that takes security very seriously. Encrypted card information is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault, and at no time is any credit card information stored on LevelUp’s servers. This form of payment is more secure than most in-person card based, or ecommerce transactions.


6. What if I have trouble scanning my app in the café or an error message appears?
The majority of errors are due to credit or debit card expiration. Check to make sure that your linked card has not expired or is being rejected for another reason. The speediest way to get an answer if you are having any other issues with your app account is to email RewardsApp@TinDrumAsainKitchen.com. This can be done right within the app in the “Settings” menu. Choose “App Support” and type your question. The app support team will have access to your account information immediately when contacted in this way. If you choose to email support@thelevelup, be sure to use the email address tied to your account so that the support team can access your account information.


7. How do I place an online order?
Head on over to http://order.tindrumcafe.com or download our app from the App Store or Google Play. In the Tin Drum Rewards App, select “Order” and then choose the closest location and begin to place your order.


8. Why didn't I receive my birthday reward?
There are a few reasons why you might not be seeing your birthday reward.

First, confirm the following:
• You're a Tin Drum Lucky Cat status app user (you must have made at least one transaction with your app at least 2 weeks before your first birthday reward).
• You've recorded your birthday in your profile.

If you’re not sure how to record your birthday, we’ve got you covered:
1 - Tap the gear icon at the top right corner of your app.
2 - Tap "profile" + enter your birthday.
3 - Kick back + wait for us to treat you to dinner on your next big day!
